We can’t wait to meet you and your family and share a little more about all that GHS has to offer. We strive to make our admissions journey as welcoming as possible. We offer rolling admissions for the current year on an as-available basis.

Here is a step-by-step path to joining our community:

1. Submit an Inquiry

Fill out our online inquiry form. Once submitted, we will be in touch with information about our school community. We look forward to connecting with you, answering your questions, and learning more about your child!

2. Explore GHS

During our initial conversation, we will invite you to an upcoming admissions event or coordinate a personalized campus tour.

If you are moving to the area, we are happy to set up a phone call.

3. Submit Application

We invite you to complete our admissions application. Completing an application is the key that unlocks the next step: scheduling your child’s campus visit.

It is important that all of your application materials are submitted. An admissions file is considered complete when all required forms have been received.

List of Required Admissions Forms
  • Admissions Application with the non-refundable $35 application fee payable by check or cash. This fee is waived if the application is submitted before January 29.
  • Report cards for the past two years, including teacher comments.
  • Teacher Recommendation Form for students in grades 1st–8th.
  • Standardized Test Scores (i.e. ERB, CTBS, SAT, ISEC, CAT, etc.), if available.

If you wish, please include copies of any awards, certificates, or examples of work that you feel will give us better insight into your child’s capabilities and personality.

Once we have received all your forms, we will contact you to schedule a Student Visiting Day.

4. Student Visit

Once an application is completed, we will schedule a time for your child to experience GHS firsthand.

Junior Kindergarten

Pre-Kindergarten applicants are four years of age by September 1 of the year of projected enrollment, and Kindergarten applicants are five years of age by September 1 of the year of projected enrollment.

We will invite your child for an assessment with one of our head teachers to ensure your child’s readiness for our program. The JK assessment will last approximately 20 minutes.

Elementary & Middle School

Experience our vibrant community in action during a regular school week. Your child is invited to spend the day at GHS with their current grade level.

A lunch and a snack should be brought to school, and your child may want to wear clothing in red or navy blue that matches our uniform.

Parents MUST fill out an emergency card at the Front Office prior to leaving GHS.

During the visit, your child will be assigned a “student buddy” to help guide them through the day. Your child will be assessed in math and language arts, and the assessment will occur as a part of their regular school day. No preparation is necessary.

5. Decision Notifications

Communication and transparency are core values of our school community, and we are dedicated to keeping you clearly informed throughout your admissions journey.

Following your child’s visit, you will receive an email thanking you for joining us, along with clear details regarding our notification timeline. Final admissions decisions and next steps will be communicated to your family.
