During our initial conversation, we will invite you to an upcoming admissions event or coordinate a personalized campus tour.
If you are moving to the area, we are happy to set up a phone call.
We invite you to complete our admissions application. Completing an application is the key that unlocks the next step: scheduling your child’s campus visit.
It is important that all of your application materials are submitted. An admissions file is considered complete when all required forms have been received.
If you wish, please include copies of any awards, certificates, or examples of work that you feel will give us better insight into your child’s capabilities and personality.
Once we have received all your forms, we will contact you to schedule a Student Visiting Day.
Once an application is completed, we will schedule a time for your child to experience GHS firsthand.
Pre-Kindergarten applicants are four years of age by September 1 of the year of projected enrollment, and Kindergarten applicants are five years of age by September 1 of the year of projected enrollment.
We will invite your child for an assessment with one of our head teachers to ensure your child’s readiness for our program. The JK assessment will last approximately 20 minutes.
Experience our vibrant community in action during a regular school week. Your child is invited to spend the day at GHS with their current grade level.
A lunch and a snack should be brought to school, and your child may want to wear clothing in red or navy blue that matches our uniform.
Parents MUST fill out an emergency card at the Front Office prior to leaving GHS.
During the visit, your child will be assigned a “student buddy” to help guide them through the day. Your child will be assessed in math and language arts, and the assessment will occur as a part of their regular school day. No preparation is necessary.
Communication and transparency are core values of our school community, and we are dedicated to keeping you clearly informed throughout your admissions journey.
Following your child’s visit, you will receive an email thanking you for joining us, along with clear details regarding our notification timeline. Final admissions decisions and next steps will be communicated to your family.
