The Community Project 2024 - 2025

This year, our incredible 8th-grade students have once again taken on the challenge of making a difference through their Community Projects! This hands-on initiative allows them to take charge of a cause they truly care about, deepening their understanding of real-world issues while sharpening their research, self-management, communication, social, and thinking skills.

To expand their efforts, GHS is proudly showcasing these student-led projects that require outreach. You can find their projects right on this page. We invite all families to explore these inspiring initiatives, support a cause that resonates with you, and witness the impact our students are making.

Stay tuned as this page will be continuously updated as new projects and posters are submitted.

Your support is entirely optional, but every little bit helps our students bring their visions to life!

Thank you for championing our young changemakers!

Strengthening Family Bonds through Fishing

Ryan Y

My goal is to raise awareness and inform others about the benefits of fishing as a family activity, and inspire families to engage in it as a way to build stronger bonds and create lasting memories. Recently, published sources on the web mentioned the importance of how family bonds need to be worked on due to shifts in societal, technological, and economic trends that have made it more challenging for families to connect meaningfully.
